Our fleet of grinders includes several different types, which allow us to carry out the grinding works, these include the most up to date large Husqvarna 3-headed dual drive planetary remote control grinders to the smaller single headed walk behind grinders, and then down to small 125mm handheld grinders. These machines, coupled with using the correct techniques, processes and diamond tooling allows us to remove all types of concrete surfaces, including weak and badly poured concrete, delamination, ground in grime and contamination, to transform the floor into a uniform and perfectly smooth surface.
Moreover, we use Husqvarna advanced industrial vacuums coupled to all our grinding machines. These are certified to H class or use the H class Hepa filtration system and are the most advanced and efficient on the market. These vacuums capture the dust in a Longopac® bag system which minimises the dust and disruption to your workplace and ensuring that the process is as dust free as possible, maximising workplace safety.
Concrete scarifier or concrete floor planers as they are sometimes called, is a method of removing concrete or thick epoxies etc. where a greater depth of removal than grinding is required, or a much heavier profile is required.
The scarifier’s are much more aggressive than a grinder, and if required, can leave deep indentations in the surface of the concrete in rows, depending on the chosen height adjustment of the machine.
These machines are particularly suited to surface preparation when a heavy or coarse concrete surface profile is required by most types of self-levelling screeds etc.
The depth of the grooves can be controlled, this also makes them a perfect solution for producing a uniform anti-slip surface, which is required in areas such as farm cattle walkways and in service yards used by wagons etc.
