The client was so happy with the way the new restaurant turned out that they decided to get the existing floor polished in the showroom. Approx. 750m². Aesthetics, functionality, and longevity were all factors that made the decision an easy one. Please see the further down the page for more details of the project completed by our team.
The existing concrete floor received a coarse grind and several mm was removed to expose all the aggregate. There were also approx. 150 linear metres of wooden shuttering forms that had to be removed and repaired. Once all the repairs were completed a medium grind was completed over the whole floor to make it more uniform. The grouting and densifying stages were then completed, prior to completing all the polishing stages to the required gloss level. The floor was then sealed and burnished to help guard against staining. As well as being aesthetically pleasing, the floor would also now give many years of functionality and service in a commercial setting, with only a basic cleaning regime.
